Polideportivo Tecnosport: a sports reference in Barranquilla
In order to strengthen the high-level sports infrastructure in Barranquilla, the Tecnosport Sports Center was developed, a 45,000 m² complex that benefits more than 10,000 users. This space is consolidated as one of the most complete in the country, thanks to its technical planning, certified equipment and functionality for multiple sports disciplines.
The project began with a technical consultancy and a specialized architectural design, where customized solutions were defined for disciplines such as professional soccer, softball, tennis, paddle tennis and racquetball. This stage included detailed planning, the selection of certified materials and the design of surfaces such as FIFA-standard synthetic turf and acrylic coatings certified by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) for the tennis courts.
Subsequently, part of the civil works were executed under integrated project management, including key scenarios such as the paddle tennis courts, the tennis courts and the multi-purpose court. The entire process was developed under international standards, guaranteeing structural quality, regulatory compliance and high sports performance.

In its final phase, high-end equipment was supplied and installed, including aluminum enclosures, heavy-duty mesh, Daktronics electronic scoreboards and Musco brand LED sports lighting. Each component was selected to ensure that the
Project highlights:
Softball field: Built with specialized synthetic turf and finished in green and terracotta tones. It has nylon mesh enclosures, bullpens, batting cage and custom-made anti-impact mats.
Tennis courts: It has two types of surface: brick dust for professional play (with irrigation system and enclosure), and asphalt with acrylic coating certified by ITF, ideal for training and recreational competition.
Multipurpose court: Equipped with a rubber and polyurethane cushioning system, adaptable for basketball, volleyball and indoor soccer. Includes perimeter enclosure and portable sports equipment.
